Tiger found dead at Jim Corbett National Park

     Ramnagar (Uttarakhand): Rangers found the carcass of a tiger at the Jim Corbett National Park on Monday. "It seems that the tiger died of natural death but the exact reason would be known after the post mortem. The Tiger was 9 feet 3 inches in length and was about 9 years old," said R N Pandey, Sub Division Officer, Terai West Forest Range . India , which is the abode to world's half number of tigers, has reported 11 deaths over the last two months due to various reasons including poaching and poisoning.
