THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan's driver was found hanging in his quarters in the Raj Bhavan compound on Sunday morning.
The police recovered a note from Thejas' room, apparently written by him citing personal issues as the reason for taking his life and that no one was responsible for his death.
Hailing from Cherthala, Thejas, 48, had been with the Raj Bhavan for several years.
Thejas was on duty on Saturday night. He had driven to the airport and had returned by about 9 pm.
The body was shifted to the Trivandrum Government Medical College for post-mortem examination.
The Governor expressed condolences over the death of his driver.
