Pakistani Ghazal icon Mehdi Hasan plans to visit India in April
to continue his Ayurvedic treatment. Hasan has a great fan following
in India. He revealed his plans to visit India at a press conference
organised at the Lahore Press Club to announce holding of a musical
show on January 19 at the Alhamra Art Centre to raise funds for the
October 8th earthquake victims and pay tributes to the Ghazal singer.
The event is being organised by Caravan, a cultural organisation, and
Community-built Rehabilitation Foundation (CRF). Speaking on the occasion,
Syed Afaq Bokahri from Caravan and Dr Mubashar from the California-based
CRF told the reporters that they had joined hands to set up five rehabilitation
units in Mansehra, Bagh, Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Chakwal.
