Priyanka Chopra walks the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week

     Mumbai: Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and cricketer Sreesanth walked the ramp for fashion designer Vikram Phadnis at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) here last evening. The designer had used to portray the essence of the word 'Showtime'. "Essentially Showtime means lot of glamour and flamboyance. There is a lot of attitude in the garments, I did not use any of the boring colours everything that I showcased were replete with colours whether it was styling, the make-up, the shoes, the bags or the stockings," said Phadnis. Phadnis is often referred to as Bollywood's ace designer and stars like Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, Sushmita Sen and Celina Jaitley swear by him. The collection consisted of exquisite jackets some of which were quilted, skirts and slim pants. He used plethora of metallic colours, bright shades of orange, green and blues coupled with interesting prints. Around 75 designers showcased their collections in this season of the fashion week. Ten new designers also unveiled their creativity LFW concludes today with a grand finale by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
