Guwahati: An Indian cosmetologist and Thailand hair stylist got together to choreograph a magnificent fashion show in Guwahati on Friday. Bhanu Sharma, a cosmetologist organised an Indo-Thai hairdressing show with to link the northeast with Thailand. Sharma said that the northeastern people are similar to people of Thailand in looks. "India and Thailand are getting together. That means when Indian people and Thailand people... we are the same - same style, same face, shape, and same hairstyle so why should I not mix together? That's why I mix both," said Sharma. Radayu Katephoka, the hair stylist from Thailand said that northeastern and Thailand fashion is almost the same. Researchers say that link between northeast India and Thailand dates back 12th Century, when the Ahoms tribe first came to Assam and settled there. The Ahoms are still a major tribe in Assam..
