Indian wear set the tempo at Bangalore fashion show

Bangalore: In white gowns, the models set the tempo at a fashion show here last evening. Titled 'Angel's Fantasy', the collection was created entirely in virginal white with a dash of black to augment the ensembles. Minimally embellished with stones and sequins, the gowns stood out for their silhouettes and simplicity. The show by fashion designer Ramesh Dembla, also featured shimmery saris, a traditional drape, in sheer fabrics. Embroidered with crystals and sequins, the saris were ideally suited to their theme 'Sheer and Shimmer'. "The first theme was called 'Angel's Fantasy', the second one was an amalgamation of east and west and the third was 'Sheer And Shimmer', which had saris in totally different fabrics, totally different cuts and totally different, new feathers attached and a lot of different things," said Dembla. The collection stood out for its simplicity and elegance as it incorporated the traditional and modern in chic and stylish ensembles.
