A
new hair styling at Bangalore fashion show
Bangalore:
A new hair styling was unveiled at a fashion show here.
India's top models set the ramp on fire with trendy hairstyles
and dyes like beige, copper and gold. Aman Tandon, fashion model,
who took part in this hair extravaganza, said that a proper
hairstyle enhances one's personality. "Personally hair style
is something that is very important. It's a thing you judge
the person by and especially if you get a proper hairstyle that
goes with your personality then there is nothing like it," said
Tandon. Shantala, another fashion model, said that a new hairstyle
makes one stand out from the crowd. "Initially, when I had normal
brown hair it made me look just like an ordinary person. Right
now, if anybody has this hairstyle or anybody has colour on
their hair, it makes them look so much different," said Shantala.
Hairstyling is fast catching on as a fashion accessory in India,
most of it inspired by Bollywood film stars and often cricket
icons. Actor Aamir Khan leads the pack, who sprang a surprise
with a closely trimmed haircut in the film 'Ghajni' released
in December after wearing a curly shoulder length locks in the
2006 hit 'Fanaa'. Cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Irfan
Khan also initially inspired many a hairdo with their long shoulder
length locks before cutting them to size with age and experience.
