Of a cop who took on terrorists in Mumbai
with an old 303 rifle

          Mumbai: An Indian Railways police constable has revealed how he took on heavily armed militants with an old 303 rifle at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal (CST) railway station here on November 26. Jillu Yadav, the constable of Railway Protection Force (RPF), described his ordeal of the day of the assault, "When I saw the militants loading their carbine, I thought it was a better time to attack them, but I did not have a weapon with me. I called the personnel with rifle, he did not hear me. I then went to him, took his rifle and fired." The terrorist attacks on various places in Mumbai on November 26 left nearly 200 dead and 300 wounded. Mumbai was hit by serial bomb blasts in 1993 also that killed at least 260 people.
