Abu Salem takes brain mapping

Bangalore: Extradited underworld don Abu Salem on Thursday underwent a series of tests at the Forensic Laboratory in Bangalore in connection with the Pradeep Jain murder case.

Salem, who was brought here from Mumbai amidst tight security on Wednesday, underwent a brain mapping test. According to the sources, the gangster would undergo narco analysis tests on Friday. He took polygraph test on Wednesday. The gangster was brought from Mumbai by a commercial aircraft and was straight away taken to Forensic Science Laboratory for the tests yesterday. The Mumbai TADA had permitted the ATS team to take Salem, against whom the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating more than 40 cases, to Bangalore for conducting tests for which the accused has given his consent.

Salem, who was extradited from Portugal after protracted legal battle in Portugal courts on November 11, is reportedly being kept at Parapana Agrahara Jail in Bangalore with heavy security arrangements.
