Youth detained in Delhi bomb blast case

Delhi: A youth has been detained in Ghaziabad on the outskirts
of the capital, Delhi, as he resembled the Delhi serial bomb
blasts accused whose sketch was released by police on Wednesday.
Police sources here said the youth was picked up in Vaishali
area and was being questioned by police in Ghaziabad, Uttar
Pradesh. Delhi Police has released the sketch of a youth,
aged around 21, who was alleged to have planted a bomb in
a public transport bus in Delhi's Govindpuri area. The portrait
was prepared on the basis of the description given by the
passengers and conductor of the bus. The explosive was detected
in time by a passenger and it was thrown out by the driver
and conductor of the bus averting a major tragedy.
