India wins fourth ODI by 4 wickets

    Pune: India today clinched the India-Sri Lanka seven match series by winning the fourth one dayer odi at Pune by four wickets. Earlier, winning the toss, India put Sri Lanka to bat. Marvan Atapattu scored 87 in 100 balls with seven fours and all-rounder Tillekaratne Dilshan scored 52 from 58 balls with nine fours. Sri Lanka scored 261 runs, maintaining a healthy scoring rate of close to five runs an over. India saw a brilliant bowling spell from Ajit Agarkar who finished with a career best haul of 5-44 to lift the man of the match award. MS Dhoni, who scored a career best score of 183 in the last match repeated his performance today. The last few overs saw brilliant strokeplay by Dhoni and super sub Suresh Raina. The winning stroke, also came from Dhoni who hit an impressive six to win the match for India. The Indian innings however did experience a good start. Sachin Tendulkar went for a paltry 11, followed by Yuvraj Singh who got out for 10. Sehwag was caught by Russel Arnold just two runs short of his half-century in the 20th over. The fourth wicket to fall was that of Venugopal Rao, who was out for 38 after a brilliant catch by Sangakkara off Muralitharan's bowling. Rahul Dravid top scored for India with 63, but got out, caught by Vaas off Fernando's bowling. Muralitharan claimed Pathan's wicket. But Dhoni and Raini stuck till the end and saw India to victory.
