"I was vexed because I had a call time of 6 or 7am, and we didn't do any work until three or four in the afternoon. No one told me her situation until afterwards. Jemima can't believe her 5 yr stint with Imran (Go To Top)

London: British socialite and ex-wife of former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan has revealed that she could never re-live her marriage to the famous cricketer, and that it would never have lasted as long had they married when she was older. "I think the fact that I was very young made it easier to adjust and fit in. Certainly, I couldn't make a change like that now," she said. The British heiress, who is currently in a relationship with actor Hugh Grant, said that though there was a big cultural difference, her Jewish background and the fact that she was a foreigner was what made life in Pakistan even more difficult. "There was such a focus on how I lived and how I conformed, so I had to over-conform, and I had to make a double effort to be seen to do the right thing, because I was a foreigner with a Jewish background," Times online quoted her as saying. Jemima said that though she liked and respected Imran's family, her upbringing had been very different from theirs. "I now think, my God, I mean, how did I live five years with Imran's whole family, who I was very close to? I mean, I really liked and respected them, but obviously, they lived very, very differently," she added. She also added that it was Imran's political career and the focus on how she had conformed to the laws of the country that had caused the most problems. "Frankly, the most difficult thing was the politics more than the cultural issues, the fact that there was such a focus on how I lived and how I conformed, which wouldn't have been the case if I hadn't been married to someone high-profile and in politics," she said. In the meantime the socialite is neither denying nor confirming an upcoming nuptial to actor Hugh Grant.

Allegedly, the builder was furious on discovering his girlfriend had paraded round the house naked for the rocker.
