flight makes emergency landing at Delhi
New
Delhi: An Indian Airlines flight carrying 134 passengers
made a safe emergency landing this afternoon at Indira Gandhi
International Airport due to hydraulic failure. Mumbai to
Delhi IC 864 passenger aircraft reported hydraulic failure
at 12.20 PM after which an emergency was declared at the airport,
an airport official said. "The plane landed safely at 12.35,"
he added. When asked about the reason of the emergency landing
of the plan, the official said, "there was a reported hydraulic
problem. That's all we know." He also informed that the plane
was not damaged and traffic along the route was not affected.
