Mumbai: The man who has huge fan following whereever he goes and carries the label of James Bond was in Mumbai recently to support and promote the use of iodized salt among the people. A major section of the people consume non-iodized salt, which causes many diseases like goitre. Moore, who is also the UNICEF Ambassador said "I am lucky enough that people listen to me and are curious to know about issues that cause sufferings to common people. When you enter into this sea of sufferings, only then you come to know what actually it is". "James Bond is a very easy role where I know my script and I act, whereas being an Ambassador is a real role, which has lot of challenges with it," he added. Deepali Shaw, the glamour girl from tinsel town was also there to support this cause and said," Many people from the film industry have joined hands to support the cause of iodine deficiency which is being overlooked. We are here to do something, to create awareness on the side effects of the non-iodized salt".
