     London: Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor, who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, has reportedly "lost the will to live". According to sources, the 73-year-old sleeps for 12 to 14 hours a day and hasn't moved out of her Bel Air home for a month. "It's as if she has thrown in the towel and admitted she has nothing left to live for. It's like she's given up. She's lost the will to live," femalefirst quoted an insider as saying. A pal revealed that Taylor didn't want to live and dreamt of being with her ex-love - the late Richard Burton. "Elizabeth asked me what I thought heaven was going to be like. She couldn't wait to go there She told me with tears in her eyes, 'I won't hurt anymore I'll be with Richard [Burton]' That's all she really cares about," he was quoted as saying.

Mariah Carey is on a manhunt (Go To Top)

     London: It seems singer Mariah Carey's singlehood and lonliness have taken their toll on her, as she is said be "shopping for men" during her trip to the British capital. "I'm going to find me a man on this trip," Femalefirst quoted the diva, who wants to find herself a man, as telling her pals. During a recent trip to London, the 35-year-old pop star told her close friends that she wants to meet and fall in love with a British man, because she has heard they are complete gentlemen. "She's heard that British men are complete gentlemen and she's ready for some of that," the report quoted an insider as saying on America's MSNBC internet site. "I must say she was looking quite lovely on the trip so I think she will be successful," the insider added.

Prince Charles' love letters to remain private (Go To Top)

     London: Online auction site eBay is set to withdraw six love letters written by Prince Charles to a mystery Canadian girlfriend. The letters, five of which were written in 1976, and the sixth in 1980 - a year before Charles married Princess Diana, were up for grabs at 40,000 pounds. "They are very private. We don't want to upset the Prince so it is likely they will be withdrawn," The Sun quoted a source at the online auctioneer as saying. Los Angeles-based royal collector, Alicia Carroll, who was given the notes, said: "The letters are significant because they are written at a time Charles claims his only true love was Camilla." The letters talk about Charles not being able to sneak women into his hotel room on tours for fear of the Press, and how he longs to spend more time with the Canadian woman.

Granny gives birth to her daughter's child (Go To Top)

    London: Hey, filmmakers here is another brilliant story idea for you - A woman in Britain has given birth to her daughter's child. Fifty-three-year old Annie Casserley agreed to be a surrogate mother, after doctors warned that her daughter Emma Hattersley, who is one of three people in the world with Histiocytosis X - a condition that weakens the heart and lungs, could die if she had the baby herself. Emmy didn't want a stranger to carry the baby and asked her mother to give birth to her child. Eggs from Emmy were fertilised by her husband Andrew's sperm and placed in Annie's womb, who gave birth to the Caesarean baby girl. "This baby's a miracle and it's down to my mum. Surrogacy was suggested to me but I didn't want a stranger to carry the baby - I wanted someone I trusted and was close to. There is a strong bond between me and my mother," the Sun quoted Emma as saying. Casserley said that she chose to have a general anaesthetic because "I wanted to see my grandchild in my daughter's arms just like any other grandmother." The baby has been named Annie Trinity, as three people brought her to life. "Annie's birth was the best day of my life, I had to phone and tell everyone and I just kept breaking down in tears," the report quoted over-excited father Andrew as saying.

     New York: The roller coaster ride in Sienna Miller's troubled life seems to be a never ending one. First the euphoria and warm flush of love with Hollywood heartthrob Jude Law, when life seemed a bed of roses, followed by the sickening stab of his infidelity, when her whole world came crashing down in an instant. And just as it seemed to be getting back on track, with reports of their reconciliation after she laid out her "six commandments" for his reform, comes the latest twist in the tale, with rumors that she may have miscarried his baby due to the trauma she underwent following his betrayal. According to witnesses, the "Alfie" actress looked glum at her sister Savannah's nuptials last weekend in England, which incidentally Jude did not attend, which may have been due to the fact that she had suffered a miscarriage some time ago. "She's only told her family and closest friends," The New York Daily News quoted a source as saying. "Naturally, everyone feels terrible for her," he added. Sienna's rep however, called talk of a miscarriage as "complete and utter balderdash!"

Diaz, Timberlake planning a secret Christmas wedding (Go To Top)

    London: Charlie's Angels star Cameron Diaz is apparently planning to marry her boyfriend, pop singer Justin Timberlake, in a secret Christmas ceremony. The couple has already invited 150 guests for a party in Hawaii, to ostensibly 'celebrate their romance', but, according to some close friends, this bash will actually celebrate their wedding. "They're not saying if there's going to be a marriage but said it will a time of new beginnings," Femalefirst quoted a source as telling the Daily Star newspaper. And though many fans are said to be disturbed at the couple's age difference, it does not appear to bother the singer, who is hell- bent on marrying the sexy actress, almost eight years his senior, in spite of all odds. Timberlake, however, wants the nuptials to be a low-key affair.

     London: Paris Hilton has admitted that there is nothing wrong for people to film their own sex tapes, as it is something which everyone does. When asked whether the re-enactment of the real-life scene in the movie House of the Wax peeved her not, she reportedly confessed that she did not mind because it's very common now-a-days. To a question during an interview by FHM magazine "Were you peeved when you read your House Of Wax script and saw that - in a suspicious art-imitating-real-life moment - your character is filmed having sex," the Sun quoted the sexy actress as saying that as it was in the script originally, she had no problems with the scene. "No, that was in the script before I was on it. I don't really mind, it's not abnormal for people to film their trips.Everyone does it," the paper quoted her as saying.

     London: "Pirates of the Carribean" actress Keira Knightley says that her mum is her best buddy, and is so close to her, that they smoke and talk about sex together. Sexy Keira, who is set to hit screens shortly in new action movie Domino, has reportedly confessed that she is extremely free with her mother, and openly talks to her even on taboo topics like sex. "She's this chilled out hippy mother. I haven't seen Meet The Fockers, but I have a feeling she's like the Barbara Streisand character. My house was always the one where my brother and his mates would be drinking when they shouldn't be," the Sun quoted her as telLing America's Esquire magazine. "Mum and I would always talk about sex," she added. The Pride and Prejudice star, who also did a sexy boob-revealing shoot for the magazine, further added by saying that their's is not a typical mother-daughter relationship, as they even light a cigarette together.      New York: Inflation, it seems hits things other than just the economy, with the latest commodity to come under its influence, being the premium the rich and famous put on their persona. First came the mega-million dollar squabble between the Douglas family and Hello magazine over the premium for privacy, especially if Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas wanted their marriage to be barred from public view, and now Demi Moore and her 'toy-boy' lover Ashton Kucher, who have reportedly raked in mega-bucks for releasing exclusive pictures of their wedding to a British magazine. According to The New York Daily News, OK! Magazine has reportedly dished out, approximately 3 million dollars to the couple for intimate photographs of the Kabbalah-style ceremony, which took place under a veil of secrecy last Saturday at a home in Beverly Hills, and an exclusive interview with the newlyweds. However, according to the paper, the word is that the couple plan to donate the sum to Habitat for Humanity, presumably to benefit victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. No one is however willing to either confirm, or deny the news. While Demi and Ashton's reps declined to comment, the magazine is also playing the issue close to its chest and not revealing more than is necessary. "All deals are private and confidential. We protect our exclusives by not revealing too much information until our fabulous interviews and photos appear," the report quoted OK!'s editor in chief, Sarah Ivens, as saying in a statement.
