Liz
Hurley looking to turn 'Taj' pink (Go

New
York: Looks like 'Bewitched' beauty and soon to be Indian
'bahu' Liz Hurley's love affair with India is getting stronger
by the day. After throwing the 'mother of all engagement
parties' with Indian-born beau, Arun Nayar in the princely
state of Rajasthan last year, she has now set her eyes on
India's very own wonder of the world, the Taj Mahal, to
be the stage where she fulfils her breast cancer awareness
dream. According to the New York Post, Hurley is apparently
scouting for the right people in the corridors of India's
power center, who can give her a go ahead to organize a
huge benefit next year in Agra at the Taj Mahal, as part
of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation charity work she
is doing along with Evelyn Lauder. And in keeping with the
colour scheme of breast cancer charity do's, she actually
wants to 'paint' the Taj pink, to get across the message.
"I am trying to get a hold of someone in India who could
help me. I want to do a huge benefit next year in Agra at
the Taj Mahal where we turn the Taj pink for Breast Cancer
Awareness [via lights, not dye]." Pagesix quoted her as
saying. She also has other 'important' projects in mind
though, like 'organic farming', and says that she wants
to take the lead in the growing and marketing of all products
organic. "I have a farm in Gloucester [England] where I
am growing only organic food and raising animals. I just
got some new chickens in, and we are only a year away from
being certified organic. I want to then produce organic
food and sell it in stores." The report quoted her as saying.
Make
your kid a Bradman by feeding Don's cookies (Go

Sydney:
To capitalise on the passion among the Indians for the
game of cricket, the Bradman Foundation has allowed a biscuit
company to market "Bradman's Chocolate Chip Cookies" in
India. A percentage of the profits earned from the sale
proceeds would go to the Bangalore branch of the Foundation
to promote cricket and assist underprivileged children,
said a report in the Daily Times. "India is the world's
second-most populist country, they are passionate about
cricket, they have the highest regard to Sir Donald Bradman
and I understand they enjoy a good cup of tea and a biscuit.
So we think it has all the ingredients to what should be
a very successful venture," the paper quoted Bradman Museum
Director, Richard Mulvaney as saying in an interview with
the Australian Broadcasting Corp. Radio.
Harry
Potter's thief comes clean on heist (Go

London:
A bodybuilder in Britain has admitted to stealing a
copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, weeks before
it was released this year. Aaron Lambert, 20, wanted to
sell JK Rowling's latest boy wizard book for 50,000 pounds
to a newspaper in June, weeks before its release. The security
guard had taken two copies of the book from a warehouse
in Corby, Northants, where he worked. But Lambert's plans
were foiled thanks to a tip-off by the Mirror, when police
swooped on his flat in Kettering, Northants, reports The
Sun. Lambert admitted stealing two copies of the bestseller
and possessing a replica Walther PPK pistol. He was remanded
in custody until a hearing on use of the firearm.
Hilton
lays down the laws for her future husband (Go

Washington:
If you are a straight guy who truthfully communicates
with girls and have vowed never to have a bachelor's party
before your wedding night, then you may have more of a chance
to bag recently single Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton's hand
in marriage. Hilton, who recently changed her mind about
marriage with Greek shipping heir, Paris Lastis, has revealed
in an interview with "Extra", that she definitely is looking
to marry a suitable man "sometime", albeit not "just not
right now". And she has laid out her commandments for the
prospective groom. "Just be good to your girl and communicate
and tell the truth," says the socialite/sage. "Don't cheat
on her at your bachelor party ... because when guys do that
it's disgusting. Whoever I marry is not going to have a
bachelor party," Zap2it quoted her as saying in the interview.
And while she discounts rumors of romance with another Greek
shipping heir by saying "I'm single and loving it", she
claims that girlfriends are more loyal than men, who she
claims have the habit of using girls for their personal
gratification. "You need that 'cause guys are users," says
the not-quite-bitter "Simple Life" star. "It's better to
have girls you've known your whole life, who you can trust,
who are not jealous of you like some people." She said.
Britney
brings back her bra from eBay (Go

Washington:
Britney's fans will have to wait for buying her bra,
with the jeweled bustier that was doing brisk business in
the bidding stakes on eBay, being pulled off the auction
block by her, as she did not want to mislead people over
when and where she wore it. Britney may have been worried
that frenzied bidders believed she'd worn the bra on stage
for her 2001 HBO special, Britney Spears: Live from Las
Vegas, but she had actually worn the brassiere in promos
for the special, but not the special itself. The bra had
attracted bids of upto 47000 dollars before it was pulled
off by her as she was "concerned" that audiences might confuse
the bra for "something that it's not." According to Eonline!
Spears clarified the reasons for calling back the bra from
the auction on her website, by writing that the auction
had "exceeded our original expectations," and that she didn't
want anybody to feel "misled" by her underwear.
