Only Condi can nix Hillary's White House dreams

     New York: Former US First Lady Senator Hillary Clinton is being backed to win the 2008 US presidential elections, the only obstacle that might prevent her from doing so is Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. In a new book titled "Condi vs Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race", former Bill Clinton adviser turned nemesis Dick Morris and his wife Eileen McGann has said that Rice has all it takes to beat Hillary in the Presidential race.

      "There is one, and only one, figure in America who can stop Hillary Clinton: Secretary of State Condoleezza 'Condi' Rice," New York Daily News quoted the book as saying. "If elected, Clinton would reinvent what we have called the secret police to destroy those who stand in her way. Hillary has a sense of entitlement that leaves her vulnerable to the temptations of financial misconduct," the book adds. They further write that Hillary is not only "untested" by crisis, but "often succumbs to tears in times of adversity". "Hillary has been embroiled in scandal after scandal, ever since she entered public life. In stark contrast, Condi's past is without blemish," they write adding that overall Rice's chances would be better because she is single. "Rice never needed to exaggerate her record or credentials. Her success has never been a matter of hitching her wagon to the political fortunes of any powerful man," the book said. They however said that Rice and President Bush were on a "shared journey" and the latter was one of her political patrons.
