Taylor wants her ashes rest in Burton's hometown (Go To Top)

     London: Hollywood's veteran actress Elizabeth Taylor, who is said to be seriously ill after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure, has expressed wish that her remains be scattered in her late husband Richard Burton's hometown of Wales. According to Burton's brother, Graham Jenkins, the 73-year-old wants her ashes strewn at Cardiff's Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, so that she could reunite with Burton. "Elizabeth said she wanted her remains brought back to Wales after seeing photos of the college. She asked if she could have them placed close to Richard's theatre there," femalefirst quoted Jenkins as saying to Daily Express. Last month a pal had revealed that Taylor was sleeping for 12 to 14 hours a day and hadn't moved out of her swanky Californian Bel Air home for weeks. "She's lost the will to live. She asked me what I thought heaven was going to be like. She couldn't wait to go there. She told me with tears in her eyes, 'I won't hurt anymore I'll be with Richard [Burton]' That's all she really cares about," an insider was quoted as saying.

     London: British actor Daniel Craig was finally confirmed as the next 007 last week, but now speculations have intensified about the next Bond Girl. If rumours are to be believed, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is in talks with the Bond producers to star in 'Casino Royale' as sexy Russian agent Vesper Lynd, who beds the spy agent. According to sources, while Jessica Alba, Uma Thurman and Rachel Stevens are also in the competition, the movie bosses think that the 'Tomb Raider' actress in perfect for the role. "Angelina is simply perfect for the part of the ultimate Bond girl," a source was quoted as saying to The Sun.

Prince Harry to get 'Chelsy' tattooed on his butt (Go To Top)

     London: Legendary Knights have often carried their beloved's favour while going to war as a good luck charm, and now Britain's Prince Harry is carrying on with the tradition but in his own style as he plans to have his girlfriend Chelsy Davy's name tattooed on his butt, to proclam his love for her. According to reports, the 21-year-old prince wants to have Chelsy Davy's name etched onto his body as a mark of his devotion to her - and has already asked his father Prince Charles' permission to have the piece of body art. Charles has given his son - currently completing his army training at Sandhurst Military Academy - his blessing but only if he has the tattoo somewhere on his person where it will not be on public display, such as his buttocks. "Harry spends so much time away from Chelsy, training at Sandhurst, he wanted to do something to show his commitment to her. A tattoo of her name was the ideal situation," a royal source was quoted by the Daily Star newspaper, as saying. "Charles was fine with the idea when Harry promised it would be hidden away on his body, like on his bottom, where nobody but Chelsy will see it," he added. Prince Charles has made no secret of his fondness for his son's girlfriend and is reportedly ready to welcome her into the family as Harry's long-term partner. "Charles is very fond of Chelsy and actually thinks she is a good influence on his son. So he's doing everything he can to help their romance flourish," the source added.

     London: Seems that hotel-heiress and socialite, Paris Hilton, is in a hurry to do most things in her life these days. After having hurriedly called off her engagement to Greek shipping-heir, and long-term boyfriend, Paris Latsis, earlier this month, she has now auctioned-off her diamond band, given to her by Latsis on their engagement, ostensibly for the sake of hurricane relief. According to The Daily Star, she could however get only half of the value of the 2.7 million pound price that Latsis had paid to acquire it for her, from the unnamed bidder. Since breaking off her engagement earlier this month, both Hilton and her ex have been busy extolling the virtues of each other, with Paris claiming that no one had treated her with so much respect in her life, as Latsis had done. She has also gone on record as saying that she was busy having a blast with her girlfriends these days, as she found women far more sincere as friends than men, who only wanted women for their personal gratification. And she has also flatly denied rumors that she was now dating another Greek shipping-heir, saying that there was no time for men in her life for the current moment.

     New York: She wore nothing underneath her mini- skirt, when by suggestively crossing her legs, she stirred the "basic instincts" of millions of men, and Sharon Stone nearly did an encore last week, when arrived for a store opening, wearing nothing beneath her designer coat. Onlookers at the opening ceremony of the new Louis Vuitton flagship store in Paris, were Stone had come to cut the ribbon, were reportedly transfixed when they realized that the "Basic Instinct" star wore nothing beneath her Louis Vuitton coat, and couldn't stop talking about it all evening. "That was it - like a flasher! She wore it as a dress," the New York Post quoted a source, as saying. She was, however, not the only star at the event, with Karl Lagerfeld, Catherine Deneuve, Winona Ryder, and Salma Hayek, also gracing the occasion.

Potter girl too stressed out for 'real' love (Go To Top)

     Washington: She may have lost out in the love stakes for Harry Potter's love to Cho Chang in reel-life, but it seems that so demanding is the Potter filming schedule, that there is also no time for Emma Watson, who plays Hermione in the Potter movies, to find love in real life. "This is my life: I live two hours from (the Harry Potter studios), in Oxford, so I get up at six in the morning and I'm gone until nine at night, and I do this for eleven months of the year. "And, if I'm not here, I'm back at school trying to catch up on all the work I've missed, playing on all the teams I can get myself onto, and I'm trying to see my family and friends. So boys come pretty low down the list," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. But regardless of the negative fallouts of her hectic schedule, she says that the experience of being part of the Potter saga has been so enriching, that she would do it every time the situation arose in future. "It's restricting. Long hours. I miss my family a lot. But if I had the chance to do it again, in a million years I would always say yes. I'm so lucky." She confessed.

Blond Bond gives Miss Money Penny the miss (Go To Top)

     London: British double agent James Bond's super efficient secretary Miss Money Penny's character has been axed from the forthcoming movie Casino Royale. Money Penny, who has waved the suave superspy off on some of his most perilous missions, has been written out of the new film because she only fleetingly appears in Ian Fleming's original novel. Gadget-inventor Q, last played by JOHN CLEESE will also be absent from the new film - in which British actor Daniel Craig will play 007 for the first time. "Neither Miss Moneypenny nor Q will appear. Neither of them are in the book. The film will update the novel but stick very closely to the storyline," Co-producer Michael G Wilson, was quoted by Femalefirst, as saying.
