plenary session to take place in January
New
Delhi: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) plenary
session, which was postponed due the Bihar Assembly polls,
will be held in Hyderabad in the second half of January. Andhra
Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said this on
Tuesday after meeting Congress party President Sonia Gandhi
in the capital. Reddy said the decision was taken at the meeting,
which also attended, by several other congress leaders including
Ambika Soni and Motilal Vora. The AICC plenary session was
earlier scheduled to take place in October but was postponed
due to the Assembly elections in Bihar which begins today
and will go on till November 19 in four phases.
