EC suspends three polling officers

     Patna: The Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday ordered the suspension of three presiding officers in the Imamganj assembly constituency for failing to perform their duties. The EC also ordered re-polling in seven booths-booth number one to 4, 9, 42 and 76-in Imamganj assembly constituency, which will be held on October 21 along with the polling in the other four constituencies of Belaganj, Bodh Gaya, Gaya (mufassil) and Gaya (town). Polling in these four constituencies, whcih are considered Naxal- affected, was suspended on Tuesday due to absence of adequate security.
