Amar Singh condemns Sonia Gandhi

     New Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh today at a press conference in the Samajwadi party office here, commented on the incompetence of the Congress Government. Singh condemned Sonia Gandhi for using the Governor of Uttar Pradesh TV Rajeshwar as her "gatekeeper". He also accused Mrs Gandhi for staging the whole Mau violence. He expressed concern for Assam and Haryana,stating that the people are being killed there and the Government is mumb about it. He emphasised that The Uttar Pradesh Governor T.V. Rajeshwar is working for Mrs Gandhi and his sole intention of going to Mau was to meet the congress members. Rajeshwar visited Mau on October 21 to take stock of the situation. The Governor also met the local people who apprised him about the conditions as well as the difficulties faced by them. In his brief chat with mediapersons, the Governor said his efforts were aimed at establishing communal harmony so that the people of the town could live in peace. He, however, refused to take questions on his impressions of the situation in the town and the work being done by the district administration.
