Separate loos keep Zeta-Douglas marriage going
(Go To Top)

Washington: Hollywood stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are set to celebrate their fifith wedding anniversary next month - thanks to their seperate bathrooms! Yes, the couple owes the success of their happy marriage to their separate bathing quarters, which allow them to maintain a certain degree of privacy. "I don't want him to see how messy I am. Certain things should be private," Contactmusic quoted Zeta-Jones as saying. The actress, however, added that there are so many other things which have kept them going strong. "We're good friends and we take care of each other... And we hang a lot and we're kind to each other. We spend so (much) time in our business being kind and polite to total strangers and sometimes the person who you love most and who's closest to you, you forget to be kind to," she said.

'Jazz therapy' helped Claire Danes strip on screen (Go To Top)

London: It seems most Hollywood stars need some 'therapy' or the other to become bold enough to strip on screen. While 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, Keira Knightly reportedly found it "liberating" to strip on screen, others like 'Basic Instinct' babe, Sharon Stone, needed 'booze therapy' by co-star, Bruce Willis, to lower her guard. But when it comes to 'Romeo And Juliet' star, Claire Danes, nothing works better than some old-fashioned jazz to soothe the frayed nerves. Danes, who had to bare all for Shopgirl, in which she plays a young woman who has a sexual relationship with an older man played by Steve Martin, claims that the soft strains of jazz helped her calm her nerves and lose her inhibitions before the nude scenes. "It was not the easiest thing I've done. But they played jazz. That helped. But you know, acting is a humiliating job from start to finish." The Sun quoted her, as saying. And though she has not ruled out baring all again on the big screen, she doesn't think that stripping had any role to playin making her a better actress. "I'm not more of an adult actor because I've mooned America!", she said.

Harry Potter's magic falls flat on girls (Go To Top)

London: Harry Potter may be an all powerful boy wizard and may gloat over the fact that he is superior to the 'muggles' or mortals, but his magic does not seem work with girls in reel as well as real life. Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has admitted he has something in common with his boy wizard character and that is that they are both unlucky with girls. Despite being one of the world's most famous teenagers Daniel, now 16, says he is hopeless at chatting up the ladies. In new film The Goblet of Fire, out next month, Harry hits puberty and struggles with the opposite sex. "That's the main parallel between me and him in this film," he was quoted by the Sun, as saying. Fans will also see Harry's first kiss - with Cho Chang, played by Katie Leung. Daniel loved filming the romance but joked: "Katie's probably saying, 'I hated those scenes'."
