Ex-President KR Narayanan hospitalised
New
Delhi: Former President KR Narayanan has been admitted
to the Indian Army's Research and Referral Hospital here where
he is being treated for acute pneumonia. Doctors attending
to the 85-year-old Narayanan in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
of the hospital, said that his condition was deteriorating.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President APJ Abdul Kalam
visited the hospital today to enquire about the former President's
health.
