London: For all those who have done some 'monkeying around as kids for fun, here's some news; its serious business that can make you mega-bucks when you grow up if you can actually master the art of mimicking gorilla growls. And mastering the art seems to have paid off for Lord Of The Rings star, Andy Serkis, who has bagged the lead role in the remake of classic monster movie King Kong. Serkis claims that spending time observing gorillas in the wild in Rwanda, has familiarized him with their language, as well as their body actions. "In life there are about 17 gorilla vocalisations. If a family were here eating their lunch they'd go (leaning forward with a curved back and balled fists) 'Mmmmrrrrrrrr!' To say, 'I'm okay.' "If a gorilla is reprimanding another it goes (slapping chest with palms) 'Mhhh! O-h-h! O-h-h!", Femalefirst quoted him, as saying. And he seriously hopes that audiences will be able to pick up the nuances of gorilla behaviour when they watch the film.
