Hollywood superstars Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger's
prolonged battle for custody of their daughter, Ireland,
got nastier last weekend, when Baldwin called in the cops
after being denied access to his daughter by Bassinger.
The couple who split in 2002, have been engaged in a no-holds-
barred battle for custody of their daughter ever since,
with Baldwin having demanded an increase in custody time
with his daughter, as he felt that Basinger had no respect
for his parental rights. "I believe the child lives in a
constant state of tension, wherein she must never display
or divulge her true feelings for her father because of the
mother's all-consuming and bitter feelings toward me," Contact
music quoted him claiming in court papers obtained by US
TV news show.

Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp has revealed that legendary
actor James Dean inspired him to act. The Pirates of the
Caribbean actor toyed with the idea of becoming a musician
before taking a plunge into Hollywood. However the Fifties
legend convinced him to change careers. Johnny told Radio
2 that he has been a huge fan of James Dean since he was
young, when he was influenced by the 'Fifties stuff', wearing
'big hair, jeans and biker jackets'. "I started out as a
guitarist in the early Eighties. I hooked up with a guy
who idolised James Dean and he gave me a copy of the Dean
biography, The Mutant King, which I thought was really interesting,"
he was quoted by the Sun, as saying. "While reading the
book, I watched Rebel Without A Cause, and I thought, 'Wow,
this guy really has something', and I was hooked. "I wasn't
really into acting at the time - but James Dean was the
catalyst," he added.

London: Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has alleged that
mystery surrounding the identity of the next James Bond
is just a publicity stunt, and nothing else. "Maybe it is
all a big, clever ploy, just to bang the drum. We've seen
it over the years with Sean (Connery) and Roger(Moore).
Sony are pulling their hair out over it, apparently," femalefirst
quoted him as saying. Brosnan, who was dropped from the
role of secret agent after 'Die Another Day', also revealed
that he was still in the race to play the next 007 in 'Casino
Royale'. "I was in their offices just a few weeks ago, pitching
Thomas Crown (Affair) 2. They said, 'Come back,' and I said,
'It's not up to me, guys.' I think I was just caught up
between the egos of the producers and the studios, really,"
he said.

'The Merchants of Bollywood' - a show paying tribute
to Bollywood's hits of yesterday and today - opened at Sydney's
Enmore Theatre on Wednesday. 'The Merchants...', which is
the story of a Rajasthan grandfather and grand-daughter
- both choreographers in the Indian film industry, is directed
by British theatre director Toby Gough. While the songs
are performed in Hindi, dialogues are in English. The cast
includes 30 dancers and actors from Mumbai's Film City,
many of whom starred in Bollywood blockbusters 'Devdas',
'Lagaan' and 'Bunty aur Babli'. "I think it's pretty entertaining.
It's the beginners guide to Bollywood. If you want to get
a taste of the rich diversity of India's culture, we have
a mixture of it here. It's an opportunity for us to include
the spiritual music of India, the folk music of India, the
classic hits of yesterday's films and the big hits of today.
You've got colourful costumes. And there's a little love
story in there," AAP quoted Gough as saying. The show will
run at Enmore Theatre until October 16, and will then tour
Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth.

Busty Big Brother star Makosi wants her heavy breasts
made smaller, similar to actress Halle Berry's, as they
give her backache. Though the top-heavy housemate, who bared
her boobs several times on the reality show, loves her boobs,
she has reportedly confessed that she wants a breast reduction
because they hurt her back. "I love my boobs but they're
just too heavy," the Sun quoted the 24-year-old as telling
the Closer magazine. "They give me terrible backache. I
think I'll show my surgeon a picture of Halle Berry's breasts
and say give me a pair of those," she added.

Busty model Jordan has reportedly claimed that she enjoys
having bouncy sex with hubby Peter Andre on her trampoline,
which she has in her garden. "I've got a trampoline in the
garden and I've christened that," the Sun quoted the busty
babe as telling the More magazine. The blonde star also
revealed that there is no holding back when she and Peter
want to have sex, and hence they get intimate whenever they
are in the mood, and wherever they are. "If you're outdoors
and the passion happens, so be it. I met my bloke in the
jungle and that's why we've got a thing for the great outdoors.
My place is great. There are loads of trees and bushes where
no one can see us being naughty," she said. "When me and
Pete visited the Maldives, we did it in a hammock. What
was great and really exciting, you can hear people walking

ultimate utopian dream, by buying stunning star, Jessica
Simpson's flavoured sweet kisses. And though the original
ones may still be only for her hubby, Nick Lachey, she says
she can't wait to share her 'surrogate' ones in the form
of her new fashion line with her fans. According to MTV,
Simpson has announced the launch of her new cosmetics range,
"Sweet Kisses" , named after her 1999 album of the same
name, and it is expected to hit Wal Mart franchises exclusively
next month. The range, which will be the fourth of her kissable
collections - following Dessert, Taste and Treats, comes
in the new flavours of vanilla cupcake, creme brulee and
strawberry sorbet, and will include flavoured fragrance,
hair and body shimmer mist, body frosting and lip gloss,
the report adds. And as for Simpson, she says that being
very close to her heart, she can't wait for her range to
hit the stores. "Sweet Kisses is very personal to me, and
I can't wait to share it," she said.
