Angelina Jolie set to raid a third 'Tomb'

London: Angelina Jolie, it seems is out to prove that she can squeeze back into the skimpy Lara Croft post pregnancy. After the second Tomb Raider movie gave a lacklustre response, Jolie had said that she would never do another, but now she seems to have has changed her mind and is looking set to act in the third sequel. The actress, who is currently in Namibia with Brad Pitt and her two children, Maddox and Zahara, is pregnant and due to give birth next month. The character's creator Ian Livingston told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Paramount has optioned it and Angelina has agreed to star in the third." The actress is said to be determined to get her body in shape for the part. "Angelina is already in training to make sure she gets rid of her post-pregnancy bulge. She wants to be in tip-top shape and look better in Lara's outfit than ever," Femalefirst quoted a source as telling Daily Express newspaper.

Cold showers behind Liz's sexy skin (Go To Top)

Washington: She may hate them, but British beauty Elizabeth Hurley has revealed that nothing works wonders for her skin better than a good cold shower. The former Estee Lauder model, who even at the age of 41 has managed to maintain her stunning looks, said that though cold showers were 'hideous', they still remained the perfect way to improve the condition of the skin. "I like turning the shower to cold. It's hideous, but it's really good for the skin!" Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Julia Roberts gets a bashing on Broadway (Go To Top)

Washington: She may have gotten great reviews, and an Oscar for her role in the movie 'Erin Brokovich', but Julia Roberts' stage career is not getting the same applause, and is in fact being panned by critics. Julia Roberts' stage debut with 'Three Days of Rain' was highly anticipated, but critic Howard Kissel said that with her 'little stage presence', she failed to create magic on-stage. "As mesmerizing as she is onscreen, she has surprisingly little stage presence," E!Online quoted him, as saying. Clive Barnes, the New York Post's critic, didn't believe in being diplomatic, and bluntly stated that he not only 'hated' the play, but also found Julia's performance equally lacking. "Hated the play. To be sadly honest, even hated her," he said. However, producers of the play aren't a worried lot, for Roberts' star status has meant that the scheduled 12-week run of the play is already all but sold out. 'Three Days of Rain' is scheduled to close June 18.

Awsome threesome: Lohan, Jane, Huffman

Melbourne: Actors Lindsay Lohan, Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman will be starring in Gary Marshal's new film titled 'Georgia Rule.' The story line involves a rebellious young woman (Lohan) who is asked by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend a summer with her grandmother (Fonda). James G. Robinson said that Marshall's cinema is cinema with a diffrence. He feels that Gary Marshall's fims have a very distinct and a unique touch, as he recalls the same about 'Runaway Bride.' "The movie once again is going to be Gary Marshall's kind of movie. He can deliver the mail with this type of movie," moviehole.net quoted him, as saying.

Nicollette Sheridan turns to yoga (Go To Top)

Washington: 'Desperate Housewives' star Nicollette Sheridan is apparently so eager to starting a family soon, that she is taking yoga classes to boost her fertility. A source revealed that Sheridan, who is engaged to singer Michael Bolton, has been taking special yoga classes called 'Yoga 4 Fertility' at a studio owned by her 'Desperate Housewives' co- star Brenda Strong, and that she is hoping that the classes work. "When Nicollette came out of the class, she was absolutely glowing. She was gushing to a friend that she hopes the classes work," Contactmusic quoted the source, as saying. While Sheridan plays the man-eating Edie Britt on the hit TV show, Strong is the voice for the show's 'dead' narrator Mary Alice Young.

Cherie's hairdos leave Labour broke (Go To Top)

London: Even while the already cash-strapped Labour party had to resort to borrowing funds to avoid a pre-election crisis, Cherie Blair didn't cut down on her hairdo bills, that cost the party a whopping 275 pounds a day. Cherie apparently shocked party activists by presenting them with a 7,700 pounds bill for the services of her personal hair stylist during last year's general election campaign (06Apr05-06May05). The Party has, however, defended footing the bill. "So what? Mrs Blair worked fantastically hard during the election and visited more than 50 constituencies during the campaign. She is enormously popular with the party and, don't forget, we won the election," The Independant quoted a party's spokesman, as saying. Invoices from the Mayfair stylist Andre Suard - headed "hair styling for Cherie Blair" - are declared as an electoral expense in Labour's accounts for 2005 submitted to the Electoral Commission watchdog.
