Bond has broken teeth after a punch

Washington: He may be saving the world from being destroyed by bad guys in his upcoming James Bond movie 'Casino Royale', but actor Daniel Craig must be rueing the day he had to fight with some minor actors, for he recently received a punch that left him both bleeding and toothless. According to a movie insider, the British actor was left bloodied, and with broken teeth while filming a fight scene in the Czech capital of Prague. "Daniel was filming with some minor actors when he got hit in the face. He was reeling from a heavy blow and staggered back holding his face. He put his hand to his mouth but the blood started to seep through his fingers - it was horrible," Contactmusic quoted the source, as saying. The 'Munich' star not only had to have his London-based dentist flown out to fix caps onto his broken teeth, but he now has to wear gumshields during action scenes for protection.

Washington: After four months of their divorce, former celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have finally divided their properties and assets, which they jointly held before separation. The pair have concluded their 60 million dollar divorce settlement, which entitles the former Friends star to assume sole ownership of their 29 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion, while handing over the lucrative film company Plan B Productions to the Fight Club actor, reports Contactmusic. However, Aniston will also retain a "minor stake" in the production firm, which is believed to be worth more than 50 million dollars after a string of 12 successful independent movie releases, including Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. Desperate Housewives desperate to save lingerie (Go To Top)

Washington: The cast of Desperate Housewives are keeping a close guard on their knickers, as they are scared of their skimpy frilly underwears being auctioned off to the public. The actresses have had their lingerie locked up, after some of the panties of actress Eva Longoria were raided by a thief, who reportedly wanted to auction the undergarments and cash in on fame of the sexy stars, on the set of ABC's popular night time soap opera Desperate Housewives. Fortunately he was chased off before he could grab even more. Lingerie belonging to Nicolette Sheridan and Teri Hatcher is also suspected to have gone astray. "Nobody knows if the guy is just a weirdo or a hustler trying to make a few bucks on eBay, but security got to him and chased him away," Contactmusic quoted an insider, as saying. "The actresses are furious at the thought of their most intimate clothing being auctioned off to the public," the insider added.

Sydney: Reports that music icon Madonna's five-year marriage to British director Guy Ritchie is on the rocks have been further fuelled by rumours that the singer has sought the help of Kabbalah rabbis to help save her crumbling marriage. According to a source, the 'Hung Up' singer is distressed by the pressures that are being put on her relationship to Ritchie, and that it has prompted her to seek the counsel of the leaders of the mystical Jewish religion. "She has confided in teachers about her fears for her marriage. They have been discussing what she should do, as being able to hold on to love and making marriage work is one of the things Kabbalism is supposed to help," the Daily Telegraph quoted the source, as saying. "Recently she has only been interested in talking to the teachers and a small group known as the inner sanctum. She seemed down in the dumps," the source added. The source further revealed that the teachers of the sect had advised the singer to wait until the April 12 Passover festival before making any decisions, for by that time she will be able to see things more clearly.

And though the singer isn't yet revealing what the nature of her new business is, she said that the 'Semtex Girls' portrays a new breed of women who are dynamic, and who just won't take no for an answer. "The Semtex Girl is a girl who is dynamic, a girl who explodes, who doesn't know the meaning of nine to five, a girl who is unstoppable and who doesn't take no for an answer. The Hasty Pudding Award is bestowed annually by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals society at Harvard University to performers who have made "a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment". The ceremony saw Berry receive a brass pudding pot from America's oldest college drama troupe. Berry's performance in Catwoman, a critical flop, earned her the worst actress award at last year's Razzies, the spoof Oscars ceremony for Hollywood's worst. The movie went on to win the worst picture, director and screenplay awards. Berry, who was the first African American to win an Academy Award for Best Actress for 2002's Monster's Ball, acted out scenes from the film and danced with "Dogman," a student dressed like a French poodle. Richard Gere was named the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year and will be honoured next week.
