London:
England football team sipper David Beckham has said
that age was catching up on him and he was finding it difficult
to get up from his bed every morning, despite of the fact
that he was only 30. "I find it harder to get up in the
morning. It could be because I'm getting older, or it could
be because I've got three sons," The Sun quoted Beckham
as saying. "For a woman, I think 30 is one of the best ages
- for a man, they say it's all downhill from there. You
start putting on weight and getting lumps and bumps in places
you didn't have them when you were 20. You start getting
a few aches and pains," he said. While admitting that he
had started watching his weight, he said, nevertheless,
he was enjoying his 30s. "But you know, I'm quite enjoying
30. Every day is an experience for me. Something different
always happens in my life," he added.

Washington:
Hollywood star Whoopi Goldberg has revealed that though
she finds going to menopause 'wonderful and liberating',
it is still driving her haywire with unpredictable mood
swings. The queen of comedy confessed that she was all over
the place since her menopause, and that her moods were so
erratic that one day she would be shouting at someone, the
next day she would be sending them an apology card. "I am
haywire! I'm up, down, hot, cold, I'm all over the place.
And my moods are completely erratic. I could cuss you out
for two weeks, then send you a Hallmark card to say I'm
sorry," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. "Menopause can
be hard to deal with because it really is a shock when it
hits you. There's no countdown. It's just boom. All those
years bitching about my period and when it stopped, I was
stunned to realise how much my womanhood was tied into it.
It hits you hard," she added.

(Go

Washington:
Former James Bond Sir Roger Moore has come to the rescue
of the 007 series, by rubbishing suggestions that Bond is
a ridiculous figure in an era where terrorist figures overshadow
unlikely superheroes. "It's fantasy. Bond is fantasy, there's
no real substance to it. It's a figment of imagination.(It's)
sort of crazy, you know, a spy who is recognized wherever
he goes - spies ain't like that," he was quoted by Contactmusic,as
saying. Meanwhile, Moore is convinced that disgruntled fans
who have set up an anti-Craig website and threatened to
boycott the new film Casino Royale, are just attention-seekers.
"He's a hell of a good actor. So why attack him?" he added.
