Washington:
Can there be smoke without a fire? That is what is on
all Britney-watchers minds these days, after she was snapped
shopping in Malibu, sans her wedding band. Rumours have been
rife that not all is well in the Britney-Kevin marriage stable,
after the two have reportedly been involved in a series of
rows over Kevin being unable to come to terms with his fatherhood,
and preferring to party, rather than shoulder his paternity
responsibilities. And though the couple have refused to admit
publicly that their marriage is on the rocks, the latest incident
is bound to fuel speculation that there may be more to their
problems, than they are admitting to. "Britney didn't look
very happy as she shopped for flowers and was chatting away
on her phone," Contactmusic quoted an onlooker, as saying.

Argentine soccer superstar, Diego Maradona, who is as
well known for his "Hand of God" incident during the soccer
World Cup, as for his subsequent life- threatening drug addiction,
has reportedly agreed to act in a biopic that will show his
darker side. The film titled "Maradona: Hand of God" is to
be directed by Marco Risi, and will focus on his dark days

The period in which it will be set is during the days he was
playing for Italian team Napoli, and will also showcase his
involvement with Naples mafia organization, the Camorra. "What
interests me is to tell the story of the darker side of Maradona
- his desire to self-destruct, the years in which he was a
slave of cocaine. "I want to understand how he fell and how
he was reborn," Contactmusic quoted Risi, as saying. But according
to him, Maradona's wife was concerned over the effect the
film would have on their daughters, who will come to see their
father during his hellish days, when even she could not do
anything to prevent him from his drug-fuelled madness. "Claudia
is worried about what the girls will think of the complicated
period in Naples, when he did all sorts of things and she
was incapable of stopping him," he said.

for Comedy in the Muslim World while travelling through India
and Pakistan, and he's convinced common ailments would not
exist in his native America if everyone followed the subcontinent's
rules. "It is the most polite society that I've ever been
to. I don't know if it's dealing with the British influence
and the properness, but I think some of their customs should
be practiced everywhere. There are no shaking of hands; they
put their hands together in a prayer position and bend. I
really am totally into that now," he was quoted by Contactmusic,as
saying. "I carry this Purel hand sanitiser with me and rub
my hands constantly because I've been reading about the bird
flu that's taking hold of America. It makes so much sense
not to shake hands," he added.

it does happen where I'm from. But you know, I don't think
it's such a good thing universally," Contactmusic quoted him,
as saying. "It's a kid's movie. I don't think cousins should

reps, a ring adorning Aussie superstar Nicole Kidman's finger
has set tongues wagging, as to whether or not she has finally
decided to get engaged to country singer Keith Urban, whom
she is reportedly dating for some time now. According to the
New York Daily News, the 38-year-old Kidman was spotted sporting
a huge diamond on the fourth finger of her left hand at the
Waldorf-Astoria Wednesday night, where she had come to present
fellow Aussie Rupert Murdoch with the Simon Wiesenthal Center's
Humanitarian Laureate award. And the fact that she chose to
speak about "dedication to family, and the recognition that
our families are the center of everything we strive for and
everything we do," only went to show that she had family very
much on her mind. Her rep though refused to comment. "I don't
know where the ring came from," Kidman's rep, Allen Eichhorn,
told the paper. "We don't comment on our clients' personal
lives."

when every agent she met in Hollywood insisted she get breast
implants, to establish herself in tinseltown. The stunning
actress, who is all set to debut as a secretary in Albert
Brok's new comedy "Looking For Comedy In The Muslim World,"
has admitted that instead of people having any problem with
her name, which she had otherwise presumed, they paid more
attention to the size of her boobs. "I went to Los Angeles
and they told me to get boobs. About five different times
they have suggested I get breast implants," Contactmusic quoted
the horrified actress, as saying. However, Sheth dismissed
these suggestions, and was happy that she has been blessed
with "a healthy self-image". "I just laughed because my body
is in proportion. I'm not buxom by any means but I'm a small
girl so how much bustier can I be? Thank God I have a healthy
self-image," she said.
