Sir Anthony Hopkins bares all for animated epic

Washington: Hollywood acting legend Sir Anthony Hopkins revealed that his new role as the mythical Scandinavian warrior Beowulf, in a new computer-generated animated epic, required him to be in the buff throughout the filming process. However, the Oscar winner admitted that though he had found the whole experience 'pretty strange', he had still enjoyed it. "It's pretty strange but I enjoyed it. You don't wear any clothes and you're covered in dots and all these little markers are all over you. Before each scene you stand there with your arms apart and over your head and they photograph you into the computer. You've got dots all over your eyes so they can now make the eye movements real," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Russell Crowe calls himself a 'bloke' (Go To Top)

Washington: Hollywood hardman Russell Crowe doesn't feel he has a "bad temper", and hence recently defended his actions by blaming his violent streak on his masculinity. "I'm just a bloke. I don't think I'm quick to anger at all," Contactmusic quoted The Cinderalla Man star, as saying. The Australian hunk, who admitted to throwing a telephone at a hotel concierge in a fit of rage last June (05), claims it's natural for men to need to express anger in a physical way. And, he also insisted that he proved his ability to stay cool when he managed to remain calm when encountering the crowds on his way to the courthouse to face charges over the incident. "Did you see the footage of walking into the court building? Two hundred and fifty people and no controls. Absolutely barbaric," said the actor. "My wife got pushed, shoved and whacked with cameras. And I'm the one whose there for assault and having a temper?" he added.

Witherspoon was dumped for not having a bust (Go To Top)

Washington: 'Legally Blonde' star Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she was left heartbroken as a child when her boyfriend dumped her for being flat-chested. Witherspoon said that as a fifth grader she had been in love with a boy named Graham, who left her nursing a broken heart when he dumped her for not having the right assets. "I was in the 5th grade and I thought I was in love with a boy named Graham. We kissed. Then, he broke my heart. He told everybody I was flat-chested and that's why he didn't like me anymore," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Another Oscar may turn Theron a 'greedy bitch'

London: Actress Charlize Theron has insisted that she isn't ambitious to scoop another Oscar accolade, as it would only make her a "greedy bitch". The 30-year-old beauty, who has already picked up the coveted gold statuette as the best actress for playing killer Aileen Wuornos in the 2003 film 'Monster', claims that she isn't that hungry for awards, and hence she doesn't wake up every morning dreaming another Oscar in her hand. "I think it's an incredible honour to have something like that happen to you, but I'd be an incredibly greedy bitch to think it's ever going to happen again," Femalefirst quoted her, as telling Britain's Empire magazine. "That's not why I get up in the morning," she added.
