Japanese tourist alleges rape in Pushkar

     Pushkar (Rajasthan): A Japanese woman has alleged that she was raped and robbed of Rs 54,000 by the son of a hotel owner here earlier this month after being drugged. The woman faxed her complaint to the Superintendent of Police, Ajmer, on Tuesday from Agra. She claimed that she had been raped by 22-year-old Babloo, the son of a local hotel owner, on April 2, after being given `bhang`. Station house officer, Pushkar, Sugar Singh Rathore confirmed that he has ordered a probe in the matter. Police have not arrested any one so far. The Embassy of Japan in New Delhi has also been informed about the complaint.
