15 people killed in Nainital bus mishap
Nainital:
At least 15 people, including four women, were killed and 25 injured
when a bus in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Tallital
in Uttaranchal's Nainital District on Thursday morning. The Uttar Pradesh
Roadways bus was travelling to Nainital from New Delhi, when it fell into
a ravine at Gethia. Preliminary reports said that the driver lost control
of the vehicle after he felt sleepy. Senior Superintendent of Police,
Nainital, Alok Sharma, said that investigations are on into the incident,
and further details would be provided to the media during the course of
the day.
