Goa on 'World's Trendiest Holiday Destinations' list
London: India's land of sea, sun and sand 'Goa' has been favourite destination for holidaymakers from all over the world, and now the tiny state has been included in the world's trendiest holiday destinations list. Amador County in California, Brazil's Belem, South Carolina's Charleston, and Scotland's Glasgow also found a place on the list. Other exotic locations such as Kenya's game parks, Hawaii's Molokai island and Venezuela' Margarita as well as the Australian island state of Tasmania, and the ancient native American sites found around the town of Ramah, New Mexico were also included. The list, for the most interesting, affordable destinations for 2006, was compiled by Frommer's travel guide which is published worldwide and is regarded as the traveller's bible, according to the Scotsman.
