A vintage bus with steam engine is latest craze in Mumbai

     Mumbai: An entrepreneur in Mumbai has designed and developed a vintage bus which runs on a steam engine, that is currently being used for joyrides for the students of G. D Somania School located at Cuffe parade, Mumbai. Darayus Kabra has designed the bus, as he was passionate about something new in terms of vintage vehicles. This Royal Vintage Carriage is the first of its kind in Mumbai and the second in India. "I really enjoyed riding the bus because it looks like a steam locomotive engine," said Anita a student of G. D Somania School. The look of the vintage bus dates back to 1930, and has become a huge attraction for the locals as well as the tourists. Currently vintage bus is in great demand by various schools as the children enjoy the ride in unique vintage coaches. "I had spoken to the teachers of 1st standard and 2nd standard and the response was excellent. Today children had a blast the children really enjoyed this type of ride as the look of the coach is also very appealing its something like learn while fun," said Neelam Mahesh, Principal of G. D. Somania School.
