BENGALURU, Mar 23: This happened in real life at a courier agency office in
Bengaluru last week: As a matter pf routine, the courier staff asked the customers
what is inside their bag.
Meanwhile, one of them opened it to see the goods inside, as is the practice. And lo! There from poped up a bewildered, shriveling old man, asking for water!
The clients, all of a famiiy, were not apologetic, they instead demanded of
the couriers the gunny bag be sent to the unproductive man's own native place
in Mangaluru.
Later, when the police questioned them they claimed they were only highlighting
the soaring bus fares.
