Mike Tyson returns, will take on Roy Jones Jr on Sept 12 in California

The former boxing heavyweight champion has Trump's blessings, who had tweeted, "Keep punching, Mike!" The fight will be an eight-round exhibition match and the money will go to charity. Mike has not fought since losing to Irish boxer Kevin McBride in 2005.

NEW YORK, July 24: Fifteen years after he hung up his boots, the 54- year old former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is coming back to the ring soon. He will fight Roy Jones Jr, 51, who won the heavyweight title in 2003, in an exhibition match on September 12. Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when he won the title in 1986 at the age 20. However, he had a chequered past.

On learning about Tyson's comeback a couple of months ago, President Donald Trump had tweeted: "Keep punching Mike!"

“I’ve been hitting the mitts for the last week. I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three- or four-round exhibitions for some charities, make some money, help some homeless and drug- affected people like me,” he had said.

The Frontline Battle with Roy taking place in Dignity Health Sports Park in California will be available on pay-per-view and on social media platform Triller. The money will go to charity.
