LUCKNOW, Oct 10: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated an oxygen plant in Ghaziabad on Thursday to meet the requirements of coronavirus patients in critical condition undergoing treatment in hospitals. The shortage of oxygen supply is creating a crisis situation in many States like Maharashtra.
The ultra-high purity air separation plant with a capacity of 150 tonnes per day (TPD) in Ghaziabad’s Modinagar will produce liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and liquid argon," the manufacturing company, INOX Air Products (INOX AP), said.
The company said the plant can meet the oxygen requirements of 200 hospitals in the State and also supply industrial gases to factories.
INOX AP is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial and medical gases in the country.
