FARIDABAD, Nov 24: With one more doctor dying of coronavirus, the number of doctors dying of covid epidemic in Faridabad town in Haryana has gone up to four. Faridabad is a part of the National Capital Region.
Dr Santosh Grover, the doctor who died on Monday, was working at Ashok Nursing Home in the NIT 3. A week ago, another doctor, Archana Bhatia, died from the infection. The other doctors who died have been named as Renu Gambhir and Abha Sabharwal.
The Indian Medical Association in the city has cautioned the doctors treating covid patients to strictly follow the protocols.
The IMA had released a list of 515 doctors who had died after contracting COVID-19 while treating patients, till October 1. It said the actual number could be “much higher”. It accused the Centre of being irresponsible in not collecting the up to date information on deaths of doctors treating the covid patients in the country.

As the toll among the doctors in Faridabad dying due to
coronavirus has reached four, the IMA has asked the medical
professionals to strictly follow the protocols. The body had
earlier accused the Centre of not collecting up to date
information on the status of health workers serving the people
throughout the country.
