The US Secret Service has started preparing for Trumps' life in Palm Beach after presidency. Former Presidents, former First Ladies and their immediate family members are provided life- long Federal protection. The Trumps have also started repairs of the mansion, Mar-a-Lago, a club he has owned for decades. Last year he shifted his primary residence here from New York City, and cast his vote in Palm Beach this year.

WASHINGTON, Nov 24: The serene Palm Beach in Florida with its enchanting beaches has been a paradise for vacationers' from all over the world for a very long time. An attraction for the rich, Palm Beach has beautiful waterfront estates. Bill Gates, Tider Woods and Jimmy Buffet (not Warren) are some of the billionaire celebrities owning property here.

The US Secret Service is chalking out the plan for continued Trump protection in Palm Beach where he will be re-located after his presidency ends on January 20, it is reported. There is provision for Secret Service protection for life to former Presidents and First Ladies.

Trump will most probably be residing at his Mar-a-Lago mansion, where at present repair work is going. The 100-year-old, 126- room dwelling contains the Mar-a-Lago Club with guest rooms. Trump purchased it in 1985. May be costing around $200m now. It is one of the largest in Florida, and the US. He has a golf course in West Palm Beach.

Trump got changed his primary residence from New York City to Palm Beach in 2019. May be he does not have to pay income tax here. He had cast his vote here after changing his primary residence.

While in White House he used Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago as a demi-official bungalow. He used to call it his 'Winter White House' and 'Southern White House'. His foreign visitors here included Chinese President Xi Jinping and Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro

Trump has not accepted defeat (legally, the results have not been declared yet and that is why Russian President Vladimir Putin said he cannot go by domestic precedent or media reports, which are taken as authentic for presidential transition as a practice in the US, and will wait for the official declarations) in the presidential re-election, yet he is alternatively preparing for the inevitable.
